Editorial standards

The principles that govern everything we research and publish.

Original content only

We write all descriptions, comparisons, and analysis in original language. We do not copy, rewrite, or republish provider marketing copy, customer reviews, or content from other publications.

Source everything

Every factual data point — every price, every contract term, every feature claim — is linked to a verified source. We do not publish pricing without a source URL and verification date.

Distinguish fact from claim

We clearly label the difference between verified facts, provider-stated claims, our own calculations, and editorial observations. Readers should always know what kind of information they are reading.

Disclose commercial relationships

Every affiliate link is disclosed. Every sponsored placement is labeled. We do not create hidden commercial placements and we do not allow compensation to influence what we write.

Protect editorial independence

Providers cannot alter how their plans are compared, ranked, or described through payments or commercial relationships. Our editorial conclusions are reached independently.

Correct errors promptly

When we publish incorrect information, we correct it promptly, note the correction, and update the verification date. We do not silently edit published content.

No medical claims

We do not make clinical claims, recommend services for medical conditions, or present preference-based matching as medical guidance.
